BLACKSBURG – With the spring season on the horizon, Virginia Tech baseball head coach John Szefc unboxed the Hokies’ 2026 regular season schedule on Wednesday, revealing a robust slate of ACC contests and an abundance of marquee games against power programs.

Headlining its five ACC home series this season, Virginia Tech will welcome Duke (March 20-22), Stanford (March 27-29), Pitt (April 17-19), NC State (April 24-26) and Clemson (May 14-16) to English Field for conference play. Tickets – to be made available at a later date – are required for admission to any of the Hokies’ five ACC home weekends.

Away from home within the ACC, Virginia Tech will travel to Georgia Tech (March 6-8), Virginia (March 13-15), Miami (April 3-5), Boston College (April 10-12) and Cal (May 1-3). The Hokies’ inaugural series meetings against the Golden Bears will mark the program’s first appearances in the state of California since the 2000 NCAA Fullerton Regional (hosted by Cal State Fullerton).

There, the Hokies will match up against three SEC juggernauts: Texas A&M (Feb. 27), Mississippi State (Feb. 28) and Tennessee (March 1).

Completing its weekend calendar, Virginia Tech will tussle again with UNCG (May 9-10), coming off the teams’ competitive three-game series at English Field during February 2025.
