CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Virginia Tech men’s tennis fell to No. 41 Miami, 4-0, Friday afternoon.

Looking to battle back, sophomore Blake Hilsen took a lead in his match with a first-set win on Court No. 5. Miami sequentially took three-straight singles courts to complete their victory.

Eyal Shumilov worked a close match, heading into the third set at a score of 5-7, 6-4 when the match was clinched. Thompson also had a second-set advantage (6-7 (3-7), 5-1) at the match's completion.
