PANAMA CITY, Fla. — The Hokies finished their 2026 campaign at the ACC Championship Tournament Saturday, finishing at 31-over par, 895 (305-291-299). The team did not make the cut following stroke play, ending the tournament in 14th place. Match play will continue through Monday at Shark’s Tooth Club (par 72, 7,199 yards).
Ashton Harper and Gareth Steyn tied for 51st overall individually, finishing at 7-over par 223. Harper had rounds of 78-70-75 while Steyn carded 78-72-73.
Stanford dominated stroke play, finishing 20-under par as a team. Edan Cui (68-67-73) led the way for the Cardinals, tying for first place with Cal’s Ziquin Zhou (69-69-70) and Duke’s Ethan Evans (73-66-69) at 8-under par. Zhou then won a two-hole playoff to claim medalist honors.
The conclusion of stroke play at the ACC Championship marks the end of the 2026 campaign for Tech.
