Prior to Virginia Tech: Earwood attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where she obtained her Master of Athletic Training in 2026. While attending Texas Tech, she had experience working as a Graduate Student Athletic Trainer with multiple sites. Some of these sites included the Cincinnati Bengals as a Summer Intern, Texas Tech Baseball, Texas Tech Football, and Virginia Tech Football.
She graduated from James Madison University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While attending, she worked as an Athletic Training Work Study with the Football team from 2021-2023.
