Joined VT Athletics Staff: 2026
Prior to Virginia Tech: Kehler joined the Virginia Tech football staff after spending four years with the Penn State football program. Kehler served as assistant recruiting coordinator for operations and visits for two years (2024-25), overseeing all aspects of on-campus recruiting.
In his role, Kehler coordinated visit logistics, built detailed recruiting schedules, and managed the day-to-day experience for prospective student-athletes and their families. He previously worked as a player personnel intern at Penn State, gaining hands-on experience in recruiting operations and player personnel.
Education: Penn State, 2023 (B.S. in management information systems)
Personal: A native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, Kehler resides in Christiansburg.
