Prior to Virginia Tech: She attended James Madison University for her Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences where she graduated in 2022. After graduating, she remained at James Madison and obtained her Master's Degree in Athletic Training in 2024. During this time, Ratcliffe worked at a local high school, with Baseball, Virginia Tech Football, and Women's Basketball.
