Joined VT Athletics Staff: 2026
Prior to Virginia Tech: Arnold joined the Virginia Tech football staff with extensive experience in football operations, player development, and revenue initiatives. He served at Penn State as the Associate Director of Player Advancement & Revenue Share, for three years (2023-25), leading NIL initiatives and working closely with student-athletes, agents, donors, and external partners to support player development and enhance program engagement.
Prior to Penn State, Arnold held key leadership roles at the University of Delaware (2022-23), Rutgers University (2012-16 & 2020-22) and Sam Houston State (2017-19). At Delaware, he served as Associate Athletic Director and General Manager of Football Operations, overseeing all operational, administrative, and logistical aspects of the football program. During his time at Rutgers and Sam Houston State, he managed budgets, travel, staffing, roster development, and overall program strategy, helping teams achieve winning seasons and postseason success.
Arnold started his career by gaining professional experience with Temple University Athletics and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Education: Massachusetts, 2009 (B.S. in social science)
Personal: A native of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Arnold was a standout punter at Massachusetts, leading the FCS in punting average as a senior and earning First Team All-America honors. Arnold and his wife, Fatou, have two daughters, Averi and Cameron.
