Prior to Virginia Tech: Tyler spent eight seasons at Penn State, including the last four as football’s director of recruiting content.
Tyler led the creative strategy behind recruiting communications, producing digital, visual, and social content used to connect with top prospects across the country. He worked closely with the head coach, assistant coaches, and support staff on a variety of projects, from personalized recruiting pieces to facility graphics, digital signage, and photography at practices, games, and recruiting events. He began his career working with the football program at Middle Tennessee State as a student graphic designer.
Education: Middle Tennessee State University, 2018 (B.S. in mass communications with a concentration in new media)
Personal: A native of Brentwood, Tennessee, Tyler and his wife, Amelia, have a son, Clayton.
