Posted a 1.70 ERA during conference play... Picked up first career win against Belmont giving up only one run and two hits through five innings (2/10)... Threw combined shutout against Illinois State (2/18)... Threw 3.2 innings against No. 3 Georgia giving up five hits and striking out four (2/24).... Earned fourth win of teh season dealing six strikeouts through 6.0 innings against Notre Dame (3/2)... Hit first career home run in game two win against Notre Dame (3/2)... Earned fifth win of the season against Louisville, pitching two shutout innings and giving up only one hit (3/10)... Recorded single in win against UMES (3/20)... Took the win against Boston College, giving up only one hit (4/12)... Posted nine Ks in win against Syracuse (4/27)... Posted nine strikeouts against Grand Canyon (5/18)

High School: Three-time All-Conference member, as well as an All-State honoree in 2021 and 2022 from Providence Grove High School... Recorded a .600 batting average as a senior with four home runs and 20 RBI... In the circle, struck out 280 batters in 528 at bats, with a .89 ERA... Was named the Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2021 and 2022, as well as the 2A West Pitcher of the Year in 2022... Posted an opponent batting average of .097, giving up only seven earned runs and adding 348 strikeouts... In 552 batters faced, walked just seven... At the plate, posted a .586 batting average with 41 hits, eight home runs, 34 RBI and a 1.171 slugging percentage... Did not strike out a single time in 88 plate appearances... Played travel ball for the Lady Lightning Gold Elite and the Carolina Cardinals.

Personal: Daughter of Michael Mazzarone and Kasey Wood... Has three siblings, Riley Mazzarone, Kason Mazzarone and Ava Mazzarone... Mom, Kasey, was an Appaloosa World and National Champion in barrel racing, rode for App State... Dad, Michael, played lacrosse at State University of New York at Morrisville... Plans to major in agriscience business with the career objective to manage farms around the Piedmont and one of her own.
