BLACKSBURG – With Virginia Tech football alums and local businesses around this weekend for Tech's annual spring game, presented by PMSI, the Hokies hosted a networking night in their Sanghani Player Lounge on Thursday.

Companies like Pepsi, LEARFIELD and more were at tables connecting with Tech's current roster, as players made introductions at high-top tables and discussed their future with potential employers.

Offensive linemen Parker Clements and Kaden Moore enjoyed getting to partake in the night, with it being both of their first times doing so. The two liked the structure of it and Moore commented how he has a desire to get into real estate or working in sports.

The two and the rest of the junior and senior classes got to shake hands and connect with representatives from over 20 companies. Of those businesses, some prominent Tech football alums were present, including Corey Fuller, Sean Glennon and David Kadela. Then Xavier Adibi, who is an alum as well and is on staff as an analyst, spoke to the group to kick off the event.

"It's how you use football as a vehicle to jumpstart your life," Adibi said. "How you walk, how you talk and dress is all important. It all adds up to put yourself in the best position professionally."

This marked the first of many events lined up for the Hokies for their spring game weekend, with the game taking place on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET at Lane Stadium. While admission is complimentary, fans are encouraged to support Tech's student-athletes through NIL opportunities.
