Read below to see what they had to say.
Head Coach Brent Pry
On increasing the intensity at practice:
"I think you have to have your periods that are intense and physical. I mean, you got to match it. You got to get them ready for it. And then you take care of them where you can in practice. But there are certain periods, that are required to be that way. And yesterday we had several of them. We had to, we had to get both fronts going, O-Line and D-Line. I mean, this is a trenches game."
STARs Coach Shawn Quinn
On the points of emphasis for the gameplan:
"You know, obviously when you look at your plan to win, obviously turnover margin to win a football game. But the second thing is running the football and defending the run and then limiting explosives. So, we got to win that rushing battle. We got to fit the run better, I know that's a point of emphasis. It's been a point of emphasis on any good defense, any good football team got the ability to stop the run. And obviously, you know, there's been some things we hadn't to fit as well as we'd like to and we've worked the heck out of it."
Offensive Lineman Kaden Moore
On the intensity during practice:
"Definitely up the intensity. Definitely told the scout team, you know, push it up. We got to work on straining, you know, work on our finishing. So, it's definitely been more intense."
