Head Coach Brent Pry
On the impact of more success running the ball:
"We kind of played who we could be, right? We find ways to make some plays, it was sparked by Kyron's run. It just kind of uplifted everybody. It's like okay, Kyron just made a huge play in the game and put us in scoring position. Let's put this thing on Kyron's back. I think they believe in him right now. It got people excited, it got them back in the game. We weren't good enough on third down, we got to be better there. I'm encouraged that we're able to run the football. We're doing it on some pretty good teams. I'm not saying we're the '85 Bears running the ball but we're running the ball better, giving us a chance."
Cornerback Dorian Strong
On performing when it matters:
"Like I said, we good, we just got to play our brand of football. We got to stop saying the same stuff and just do at this point. There's really no more talking needs to be done. Every game that has happened up to this point, it's been self-inflicted wounds. So, we need to just do and stop talking about it. Just play our brand of football and show up in big-time games. Like if this is what y'all want to do. I feel like this is what we want to do for the rest of our life, we got to show up."
Quarterback Kyron Drones
On the slow start on offense:
"Yeah, I feel like we're just going to keep starting fast and when we didn't, that kind of shocked everybody else on the team. I just got to be better at getting everybody and keeping people engaged. Just staying patient and staying with the offensive game plan. Just locking in each play and just keep going."
