GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Virginia Tech women's golf team climbed up the leaderboard on the last day of the 2025 ACC Women’s Golf Championship, moving up two spots from its starting position Thursday to finish seventh. The tournament was contested at Sedgefield Country Club (par 72, 6,092 yards).
Behind three top-20 showings by Morgan Ketchum, Emily Mathews and Valentine Delon, the Hokies carded a 25-over 889 (303-293-293) over the two days of stroke play.
Mathews tied for 16th in the individual standings at 3-over 219 (76-71-72), along with Ketchum (72-74-73). Delon tied for 19th at 4-over 220 (76-72-72).
Stanford placed first, tying an ACC record at 27-under 837 (282-279-276), followed by a two-way tie at second with Florida State (284-280-288) and Virginia (290-285-277) at 12-under 852.
The Cardinal's Andrea Revuelta fired a 14-under 202 (67-67-68) to claim medalist honors by two shots over Virginia’s Amanda Sambach.
Tech will learn its NCAA regional destination Wednesday, April 23 at 1 p.m. on The Golf Channel.
