Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – Tickets are now on sale for Virginia Tech wrestling’s dual meet with Missouri at the Moss Arts Center on Nov. 25. Tickets can be purchased on the Moss Arts Center’s ticket site, which can be accessed by clicking here.
Tickets in advance are $10 each, boxes will be $140 and can only be purchased by calling the Moss Arts Center box office between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The number of boxes available are limited. Tickets bought at the door (subject to availability) will be $15. A limited supply of a free tickets will be available the day of the match for Virginia Tech students who show their Hokie Passport.
The Tigers finished just ahead of the Hokies at last year’s NCAA Championships in St. Louis with a fifth-place finish. They return three All-Americans and could be the highest ranked opponent that Tech has ever faced at the Moss Arts Center. Mizzou is ranked fifth in WIN Magazine’s preseason Tournament Power Index rankings.
Tech is coming off of a season when it won the ACC Tournament Championship, the ACC Dual Meet championship and recorded a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Championships, their fifth consecutive top 10 finish at nationals. They return three All-Americans in redshirt junior Solomon Chishko, redshirt sophomore David McFadden and redshirt senior Jared Haught.
The Hokies are 7-0 all time in duals held at the Moss Arts Center. Last season, Tech defeated Chattanooga, 29-6, on Nov. 18 and topped Duke, 26-13, on Jan. 29.
