BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech continued to add to its impressive list of alums in the pro ranks following the 2019 NFL Draft as Kyle Chung (Chicago), Yosuah Nijman (Green Bay) and Ricky Walker (Dallas) all agreed to terms of contracts as rookie free agents. In addition, RB Steven Peoples earned a tryout invitation to Arizona's upcoming
rookie camp.
Chung follows in the footsteps of his father, Eugene, who was an All-America selection for the Hokies and a first-round draft pick of New England in 1992. The elder Chung would later earn a Super Bowl LII ring as an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Nijman lands in Green Bay under first-year head coach Matt LaFleur. Packers' GM Brian Gutekunst actually attended elementary school in Blacksburg for several years when his father, John, served as an assistant coach for the Hokies.
Walker becomes the latest in a long list of 757 natives to make their way to the NFL ranks following an accomplished career at Virginia Tech. The Hampton, Virginia product lands in Dallas after playing in the 2019 East-West Shrine Game and earning second-team All-ACC honors for Tech in 2018.
