BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced Thursday that tickets for the Hokies' men's basketball game against Coppin State are now sold out, with the contest being played at 7 p.m. ET on Friday at Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum.
This is the first game announced as a sell out this season, starting the Mike Young era off the right way. Before the game, last year's tournament team will have its banner unveiled, marking the first time Tech has made three straight NCAA Tournaments in school history, including its first trip to the Sweet 16 since the tourney expanded.
With the sellout, fans seeking tickets for Friday's basketball game are encouraged to visit StubHub – the official ticketing partner of Virginia Tech Athletics – for available options in the integrated marketplace online.
