BLACKSBURG – Hitting the road for the first time in 11 days, the No. 20/20 Virginia Tech men's basketball team will play at Wake Forest on Sunday inside Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum at 6 p.m. ET on ACC Network.
SERIES HISTORY
The Hokies (10-2, 4-1 ACC) and Demon Deacons (3-4, 0-4) played each other once last season, with the Hokies cruising to a 10-point victory in Winston-Salem. Tyrece Radford had a night, earning a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds, and had an emphatic dunk that made SportsCenter's Top 10 later night, coming in at No. 7.
Tech leads the all-time series 36-31 and has won the last four in a row, dating back to 2017. The Hokies are 10-17 at Wake, but have won the last three in Winston.
YOUNG'S TRACK RECORD
Tech coach Mike Young is 6-3 all-time versus Wake Forest's Steve Forbes, with the two facing each other nine times when they were at Wofford and ETSU in the SoCon. Young has won the last four in a row and is 2-0 versus Wake.

Leading wire to wire, the Hokies defeated No.19/23 Duke (5-3, 3-1) by seven points at home this past Tuesday, 74-67, and got up by as many as 18. Tech's bench stole the show, outscoring the Blue Devil reserves 21-6 thanks to Jalen Cone getting 14 points.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Turning in his first double-double of the season and the fourth of his career, Tyrece Radford had two highs against No. 19/23 Duke with 18 points and 12 boards. He also dished out a team-high five assists, tying his career high, which he's done 5x.
Keve Aluma was once against steady, posting his seventh straight double-digit scoring game, with owning 17 points against the Blue Devils on Tuesday. Aluma also pulled down seven rebounds and had an assist, one block and a steal to fill up the stat sheet.
SCOUTING WAKE FOREST
• Wake Forest is coming off a 12-point loss at home to No. 16/18 Louisville (9-1, 4-0) despite having four players score in double figures, including Daivien Williamson's team-high 19 points in the 77-65 setback this past Wednesday.
• Forbes enters his first season in Winston-Salem, following his five-year stint as the head coach at ETSU. While in Johnson City, Forbes led the Bucs to 130 wins during that stretch and two SoCon championships.
• The Demon Deacons are led by Williamson, who is the team's leading scorer at 11.4 points per game and assist leader at 3.0 assists a contest, and Jonah Antonio, who ranks second in the ACC in 3-point field-goal percentage with a 41.7 percent clip and has hit 15 triples in six games.
• One of the better free-throw shooting teams in the land, the Deacs are 24th nationally and fourth in the ACC for free-throw percentage at 77.1 percent. They also are fifth in the league with steals per game (8.7), which ranks 31st in the country.
