BLACKSBURG — The Virginia Tech men's golf team gears up for its second tournament of the season – the Oldfield Invitational – hosted by George Washington at the par 72, 7,007-yard Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, S.C.
In addition to the Hokies and George Washington, George Mason, North Alabama, Morehead State, Stetson, Cincinnati and USC Beaufort complete the eight-team field.
Mark Lawrence Jr. will lead the Hokies into their second tournament of the year. He's coming off a T-30 at the Camp Creek Seminole Invitational in January. Joining the graduate student in the starting lineup this week is Daniel Azallion, Cameron Moore, Connor Burgess and Connor Johnson Jr. Bradley de Beer, Kobe Valociek and Charlie Hanson will compete as individuals.
Tech will tee-off Monday at 8:30 a.m., followed by the second round at 1:30 p.m. The final round is scheduled to begin Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
