BLACKSBURG – The Voice of the Hokies, Jon Laaser, conducts a post-practice interview with defensive lineman Jordan Williams on how things are going so far during fall camp.

Tickets are still available for the Hokies' season opener against North Carolina on Friday, Sept. 3. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. ET, and will serve as Tech's annual Orange Effect game. Click here to secure seats today.

On his thoughts on the first full scrimmage:
"It went good you know. It was great competition on both sides, man. We just show up and look to sharpen iron every day. And now, honestly, if we continue to do that, hopefully it will translate to the season."

On the progress of defensive lineman Mario Kendricks and Norell Pollard as the team gets to the full eight-man rotation:
"Even though I may be older than them on the roster report, I look up to those guys and a lot of the things they do. For me, you know, their progress is coming along great. Those guys come to work every day, they show up and they have great attitudes. Then they also bring others along with them, too."

On him not getting his desired reps at the receiver position:
"I need them, I need to take No. 9's [Tayvion Robinson] reps at receiver. Coach [Jafar] Williams, Coach [Brad] Cornelson, Braxton [Burmeister], I just need somebody to give me the ball."
