NFL Hokies Week 4 primer

Sunday, Oct. 3

Cleveland at Minnesota – 1:00 p.m. ET – CBS
Following their second win of the season, G Wyatt Teller and the Browns travel to Minnesota for a matchup with the Vikings and T Christian Darrisaw. While it is unclear if Darrisaw will make his NFL debut this week, Teller has started all three Cleveland games at right guard, including last week's 26-6 win vs. Chicago.

Houston at Buffalo – 1:00 p.m. ET – CBS
The Texans travel to upstate New York to take on LB Tremaine Edmunds and the Bills on Sunday. K Joey Slye hit a season-long 53-yard field goal in the Texans' loss on Thursday at Carolina, while Edmunds led the Bills with seven tackles including 1.0 TFL in Buffalo's 43-21 win over Washington.

Washington at Atlanta – 1:00 p.m. ET – FOX
The Washington Football Team did not have its best game in Buffalo in Week 3 but that didn't stop their NFL Hokies from having big days. CB Kendall Fuller finished the game with a season-high 10 tackles while TE Logan Thomas recorded four receptions for 42 yards with a two-yard touchdown. DT Tim Settle has appeared in all three games this season. Washington (1-2) will look to get back on track at Atlanta (1-2).

Detroit at Chicago – 1:00 p.m. ET – FOX
Despite Chicago's loss to Cleveland in Week 3, Bears' RB Khalil Herbert had a solid game, returning four kickoffs for a total of 95 yards including a 31-yard long. Through three weeks, Herbert leads the NFL with 201 kick return yards and is tied for the league high with five kickoff returns of 20+ yards. Herbert is also one of just four NFL players with a kickoff return of 50+ yards this season.

Tennessee at N.Y. Jets – 1:00 p.m. ET – CBS
Titans' CB Caleb Farley missed his second straight game in Week 3 with a shoulder injury, but the 2021 first-round pick may be able to suit up Sunday as Tennessee visits the winless N.Y. Jets. The Titans currently lead the AFC South at 2-1.

Seattle at San Francisco – 4:05 p.m. ET – FOX
T Duane Brown and the Seahawks visit NFC West division rival San Francisco in both teams' first divisional game of the season. Last week, Brown started at left tackle versus Minnesota and played all 53 offensive snaps in Seattle's Week 3 loss at Minnesota.

Pittsburgh at Green Bay – 4:25 p.m. ET – CBS
Another matchup of Tech alums is on tap at Lambeau Field. S Terrell Edmunds and the Steelers head to Green Bay for a late afternoon matchup with T Yosh Nijman and the Packers. Nijman is coming off his first career start on Sunday Night Football after which teammate WR Davante Adams had some high praise for the Tech alum. Edmunds also had a big game in Week 3 as the Danville, Virginia native recorded his first interception of the season to go along with five tackles including a TFL.

Baltimore at Denver – 4:25 p.m. ET – CBS
The final meeting of Tech alums this week will occur in Denver. The contest features two teams that are currently tied for their respective division leads as S Chuck Clark and the 2-1 Ravens visit CB Kyle Fuller and the 3-0 Broncos. In Baltimore's last-second win over Detroit in Week 3, Clark led the team with 12 tackles including a sack, while Fuller contributed three tackles in Denver's shutout victory over the N.Y. Jets.

Monday, Oct. 4

Las Vegas at L.A. Chargers – 8:15 p.m. ET – ESPN
A Hokie plays on Monday Night Football for the third time in four weeks this season as LB Divine Deablo and the Raiders visit the Chargers for a key divisional game. Las Vegas (3-0) is tied for the AFC West lead while Los Angeles (2-1) is just a game behind on the young season. Deablo worked at linebacker and on special teams in the Raiders' overtime win over Miami in Week 3, recording one tackle.
