BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech wrapped up its Halloween weekend tournament in dominant fashion against Radford on Sunday afternoon.
DAY THREE
Hugo Maia and Frank Thompson set the tone with a 6-2 win on doubles before transitioning to the final round of singles for the weekend.
Ryan Bernstine, Matt Harper, and Maia wrapped up undefeated weekends in singles, as they all grabbed straight set victories.
Ryan Fishback and Michael Shepheard looked to be in midseason form as they were able to produce both a dominant set and grind out the other.

DAY TWO
In doubles, Virginia Tech went up against four groups of ETSU doubles with Thompson/Ix, Harper/Bernstine, and Fishback/Shepheard picking up wins.
The Hokies looked strong in singles, as well, with Fishback, Maia, and Bernstine picking up straight sets win, and Harper pulling out a tough come-from-behind win in three sets.
DAY ONE
The day started with Hugo Maia and Alvaro Saez-Royuela Ariza earning a win against the Allen/Woodall duo from Virginia. Frank Thompson and Michael Shepheard, and Matt Harper and Alex Ix combined to get doubles wins, as well, against ETSU and Radford.
In the singles portion, Maia looked strong in a straight sets win against Jackson Allen of Virginia, while Shepheard also swept Woodall. Ix and Thompson picked up their first wins for Tech at home against a pair of ETSU challengers, while Harper joined in on the first-time celebrations against his opponent from Radford. Ryan Bernstine also grabbed a win against his competition from Radford.
