Tech alum Wyatt Teller earns Pro Bowl berth

NEW YORK – The National Football League announced its complete rosters for the 2022 Pro Bowl on Wednesday. That list included a Virginia Tech alum in Cleveland G Wyatt Teller, who will be making his first Pro Bowl appearance. The 2022 Pro Bowl is scheduled to be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Feb. 6, 2022.

Pro Bowl roster selections were determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group's vote counts one-third toward determining the 88 All-Star players. The NFL is the only sports league that combines voting by fans, coaches and players to determine its All-Star teams. It was also the first professional sports league to offer online All-Star voting in 1995.

LB Wyatt Teller – Cleveland
G Wyatt Teller received his first Pro Bowl selection of his four-year career after starting all 14 of the Browns' games at right guard. He is ranked as the No. 4 guard in the NFL by Pro Football Focus just a year after earning the No. 1 guard distinction by the site in 2020. Earlier this season, Teller and the Browns agreed on a four-year contract extension which will keep the him in Cleveland through the 2025 season.
