INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Late Tuesday night the NCAA Division I Track and Field and Cross Country Committee announced participants for the 2022 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. Virginia Tech will send 10 athletes and the women's distance medley relay to compete at the national meet, set to run March 11 and 12 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala.
Of the 11 events Hokies will contest, Tech will be seeded in the top ten in nine of them, including No. 1 overall seeds for Rachel Baxter and Lindsey Butler. Tech's 11 qualifiers are the most of any school in the ACC.
ESPN3 will stream the championships live starting at 11 AM Friday, March 11 and starting at 11:30 AM Saturday, March 12, and live results will be provided by Flash Results.
