  • VT's lone win at the ACC Tournament all-time came in 2018 when the Hokies defeated the Blue Devils 13-12 in a rain-soaked evening that featured multiple weather delays.

  • The programs played twice during the 2021 season, both at Duke and both ended as Duke victories by scores of 12-8 and 13-7.

A WIN WOULD…

  • Be the first win over a top 10 opponent since Virginia Tech beat No. 8 Virginia 20-15 in 2021.
  • Be Tech's third ranked win under first year head coach Kristen Skiera. The Hokies defeated No. 13 JMU in the second game of the season and also toppled No. 15 Notre Dame.
