BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech fell to Princeton, 5-0, on Tuesday night at Thompson Field.

Four first-half goals, including two in the first nine minutes, and a fervent Princeton attack that recorded 27 shots in the match put the Hokies in a difficult position throughout the night.

The Tigers added another one in the second half, making this the first match that Tech has conceded five goals since Aug. 27, 2017.
