HEADLINES FROM LAST WEEK
 
Women's soccer came back from a 1-0 deficit at halftime to upset No. 3 North Carolina at home on Saturday night, 2-1. Tori Powell scored the match-winning goal in the 85th minute to give the Hokies their first top-five victory since 2013.
 
Volleyball swept Boston College to open up ACC home play, with Sydney Peterson leading the team in kills (11). 
 
Swimming and diving went undefeated this weekend, taking down George Washington and Ohio, with impressive performances from Caroline Bentz (backstroke) and Chase Travis (distance) on the women's side. On the men's side, Luis Dominguez (distance) and Joseph Hong (sprints) showed their speed to help the Hokies claim victory.

Men's tennis will send four Hokies to the ITA All-American in Tulsa, Oklahoma this week.

Women's tennis shined at Liberty, with Dariya Radulova winning three straight sets to capture three singles wins and Sabina Richtrova dominating her matches to pick up three wins of her own.

Men's basketball assistant coach Kevin Giltner was mic'd up for the Hokies first week of practice.

Virginia Tech athletics winter sports Pledge Per campaign was announced for the 2022-23 season.
