The Hokies went 2-1 in Chapel Hill this past weekend, winning games one and three to clinch their second ACC series of the season. Tech took game one with help from the long ball. All of the Hokies runs were scored on home runs, highlighted by a two-run shot from Emma Ritter to clinch the win. Emma Lemley took wins in both games one and three. Ritter led the Hokies offensively with a .333 batting average with three hits, scoring two runs. Emma Jackson and Bre Peck also had solo home runs in the game one victory.

Lemley also leads the ACC with 12 victories (third in the NCAA), as well as strikeouts per seven innings (10.9) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (11.36). For the third straight week, Lemley was named ACC Pitcher of the Week on March 14, her sixth career weekly honor. This is the first time since Keely Rochard in 2020 that a pitcher has earned the award for three straight weeks. Lemley recorded wins over Mount St. Mary's and two wins over North Carolina, striking out 22 Tar Heels in her 14 innings of work. On the weekend, the sophomore finished with a .44 ERA and 26 strikeouts in her three appearances.
