CINCINNATI – Virginia Tech's Bhayshul Tuten has been ranked as the number one highest-graded returning running back in the ACC by Pro Football Focus (PFF).

In his first season with the Hokies, Tuten enters fall camp with the highest grade (89.9) handed out by PFF. He joins fellow transfer wide receiver Ali Jennings as one of the highest-graded players by PFF on Tech's offense.

Tuten transferred to Tech after an impressive sophomore season with North Carolina A&T. He rushed for 1,363 yards and 13 touchdowns, recording the fifth-best single-season rushing performance in program history.

Tuten averaged 6.6 yards per carry last season and had a career-best 256 rushing yards against Campbell. In ten straight contests, he rushed for at least 103 yards and scored multiple touchdowns in five different games.

After breaking the school's and conference record for consecutive 100-yard games in a season, he was named to the All-Big South first team. Tuten also earned FCS third-team All-America honors in 2022.
