BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech and Old Dominion played to a scoreless draw after 90 minutes of play on Thursday, Aug. 31 at Thompson Field.
"We didn't come out to play in the first 45," said head coach Chugger Adair. "I think we picked up the tempo in the second 45 and tried to create some chances to put ourselves over the top. Despite having some really good chances, we couldn't get the result we needed. Credit to ODU, they defended well and played well, making it difficult on us."
How it Happened
Virginia Tech's Taylor Price made the first shot of the day for the Hokies in the 30th minute of the match.
