BALTIMORE, Md. – Virginia Tech freshmen Isa Torres and Zoee Stencil were named to ILWomen's Power 100 Rankings for the Class of 2023 on Wednesday, per a release.
Torrres, coming in at No. 28 overall in the rankings, was one of 30 five-star recruits in the class listed by Inside Lacrosse. The midfielder from Glenelg, Md. was part of the 2023 Senior All-America Lacrosse Game roster in July before arriving at Virginia Tech in the fall. A first-team All-County selection high school, Torres joined her older sister Jocelyn, who was an ACC All-Freshman team in 2023, in Blacksburg.
Stencil, who was named to the watchlist portion of the list, was a four-star recruit out of Lake Shore, Md. The defender from Severn School was one of five 2023 USA Lacrosse All Americans in the Hokies' freshman class.
