Virginia Tech is back at Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum, featuring a basketball doubleheader on Monday, Nov. 6.

The women's team will face off against High Point at 5 p.m. ET. Following that game, the Tech men will match up with Coppin State at 8 p.m.

Tickets are still available with a BOGO deal to the women's game and $10 add-on ticket to the men's game.

Here are five reason you should attend Virginia Tech basketball's season openers below.

1. It's finally here!
Join us this Monday as Tech kicks off the 2023-24 season. Tech has had great success on both the men's and women's sides in season openers. Be a part of the action Monday in front of an anticipated large crowd for both contests.

2. Award winning players
The women's team features two preseason All-Americans, including guard Georgia Amoore and center Elizabeth Kitley. Both were All-ACC a year ago and head coach Kenny Brooks will lean on this 1-2 punch once again this season. On the men's side, guards Hunter Cattoor and Sean Pedulla return and head coach Mike Young welcomes forward Robbie Beran, a transfer from Northwestern who is expected to be a key contributor.

3. Back in Cassell
After eight long months, basketball is finally back in Cassell Coliseum. Fans will have an action-packed season, as game day experiences have been announced for both the men's and women's 2023-24 seasons. For unique behind-the-scenes opportunities, fans can purchase Maroon & Orange Memories. Experiences include playing "Enter Sandman" before tipoff, video board messages, watching the Hokies warmup pregame and more.

4. Women's Basketball Giveaways
The first 500 students can claim a reversible 2023 Final Four and 2023 ACC Championship bucket hat at the student entrance (east side of Cassell Coliseum). The student section will be filled with 1,000 shirts for early arriving students to claim one at their seat. Arrive early before these giveaways are gone.

The first 1,500 fans in attendance can claim a reversible 2023 Final Four and 2023 ACC Championship bucket hat at the Promotions Booth located between Portals 1 and 2.

A special poster highlighting the 2023 ACC Championship and 2023 Final Four appearance will be available at the Promotions Booth while supplies last.

5. Banner Unveils
Both the Final Four and ACC Tournament champions banners will be revealed on Monday night before the game. Be sure to get there early to see the special moment.
