BLACKSBURG – With the new year fully underway, the focus shifts to the offseason transition period for incoming freshmen and transfers for Virginia Tech football.
Student-athletes and their families arrived in Blacksburg on Sunday to move into their new homes on campus.
The coaching staff welcomed new enrollees with open arms as they settled in and prepared for upcoming classes this spring semester.
"Moving in today, and I'm excited to be here," wide receiver Keylen Adams reflected. "To take another step in life and ready for the next chapter.
After a long day of moving in and information sessions, the student-athletes and their families enjoyed a dinner at the Student-Athlete Performance Center.
Players were able to interact with their new teammates and coaches, beginning the development of vital relationships heading into offseason workouts for the 2024 season.
"Expect big things out of this 2024 class," freshman defensive lineman Gerard Johnson expressed. "Get ready to work."
The upcoming season's schedule will be announced later this month. Be sure to renew your season tickets or become a new season ticket holder to help make each game memorable for the new enrollees.
