What did the beginning of your lacrosse journey look like?
I got into the sport about third or fourth grade. Originally, I played softball but switched to lacrosse when my sister started playing it. Through her I got my interest and have been playing ever since.

What did your club lacrosse experience look like for you and who did you play for?
I really loved my club experience playing with DEWLAX. It had been so different from any other team that I had played for. From the people, to the energy, to the coaching staff, it was wonderful. I became super close with all my teammates.

How have you been able to translate your high school lacrosse experience to now playing here at Virginia Tech?
Senior year of high school I tore my ACL and was sidelined for the entire year, but that gave me a different perspective and relationship with my teammates, that I have now been able to translate into college. That being positivity and learning to work through adversity.

What did your process getting recruited to VT look like while having that injury adversity during your senior year of high school?
It was definitely a difficult process. I committed in May of my junior year and then tore my ACL that June. It was a difficult process thinking of how to make up for the lost time. It took all of senior year physically and mentally preparing for coming to VT, but it made me such a stronger person having to go through that, and so far things have been going great in practice here.

What has been your favorite part of practice so far?
I really love when we do maroon and orange games. I'm an orange team member, and it gives the competitive factor to practice, but also makes it even more fun.

Is there anything you're specifically looking forward to in the spring?
I can't wait for game days. It's an experience I obviously haven't had yet and I know it will be so fun traveling and watching everyone play.

Coming from New Jersey, how did Tech come into the mix for you?
My cousin actually went to Tech, so I had been to visit before. So when VT reached out and then I came for my official visit, I kind of already knew I wanted to go here and that it was one of my dream schools, so everything just fell into place for me.

What are your academic goals while at Tech?
I am majoring in HNFE. I am not entirely sure what I want to do after college just yet, but I would like to do something in the medical field. My sister is going through nursing school, so doing something in that field has been a passion and interest of mine.

Do you have any hidden talents or fun facts?
I did unified bowling in high school.
