GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Virginia Tech track and field wrapped up competition on Saturday at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
Sophomore Judson Lincoln IV clocked a personal-best time of 45.20 in the 400m meeting the automatic qualifying standards for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in June. Lincoln finished third in the 400m Invite on Saturday ranking third in the NCAA, second in the East Region, and first in the ACC.
Freshman Lukas Baroke won the men's hammer throw on Friday with a first round mark of 202' 7" (61.75m). Unchallenged after the first three rounds, he chose to forgo his final three attempts. Barbora Stejfova finished second in the women's hammer throw with a season-best mark of 197' 7" (60.22m), fourth in the ACC.
Vlad Puchko placed second in the discus with a mark of 198' 0" (60.36m).
On the track, Kahleje "KJ" Tillmon recorded a season-best 200m time of 20.81 finishing second. Ali Diaby followed closely behind Tillmon in third with a time of 20.99.

Virginia Tech's sprints and jumps squads will travel to Charlottesville, Va. on April 19-20 to compete at the Virginia Challenge. Distance is scheduled to drive down to Winston-Salem, N.C. to compete at Wake Forest Invitational, and pole vault will head to Columbia, S.C. for the USC Open.
