CHARLOTTE, N.C. - On Tuesday, the ACC announced the fourth round of athlete of the week honors.  Julia Fixsen was selected as the women's Co-Field Athlete of the Week while Judson Lincoln IV was named the men's Track Athlete of the Week.

JULIA FIXSEN
The senior pole vaulter earns her second career selection of Field Athlete of the Week, following a personal-best performance on Saturday. Fixsen won the event with a clearance of 4.47m, but raised the bar height to 4.58m (15’0.25”) to recapture the national lead after Tori Thomas of Illinois jumped 4.57m on Friday.

Following her showing this weekend, Fixsen leads the ACC standings by 0.24m, and is also sitting atop of the NCAA. Her 4.58m height this weekend led to a personal gain of 0.06m in the event.  The new career-best mark comes just one week after her first outing of the season, where she jumped 4.52m, since her national championship in 2023.

JUDSON LINCOLN IV
The Virginia Tech men’s 4x400m, consisting of Tomas Kersulius, Kahleje Tillmon, Ali Diaby and Judson Lincoln IV boasted a 3:03:99 at the Red Raider Invite hosted by Texas Tech, defeating the host school, as well as USC. The time of 3:03:99 smashed not only the Virginia Tech program record in the event, but also the ACC record. The mark bested the VT record by 1.50 seconds and the ACC record by 0.29. The result placed the quad at No. 4 in the NCAA and put them at the top of the ACC standings.

Prior to the 4x400m race, Lincoln IV flourished in the 200m, where he collected a career-best of 20.70 and the runner-up slot in the event.  His 20.70 mark was good for an elevation in his No. 3 all-time top-10 performers mark for the event.  The junior sprinter now leads the ACC in the 200m and is the ninth best performer in the NCAA thus far this far this season.

The accolade is the fifth of Lincoln IV's three-year career.
