Calvin Meyer brings home a personal-best and Janiya Johnson lands on the 100m all-time list

HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Virginia Tech track & field sprints, hurdles and jumps event groups competed at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge on March 22.

Janiya Johnson, in her 100m debut, boasted an 11.61 in the 100m, a mark good for No. 6 all-time for Virginia Tech.  Johnson now owns top 10 all-time marks in the 60m indoor and the 100m outdoor, and both marks were collected in her event debuts.

Calvin Meyer captured the heat win in the 200m, boasting a personal-best of 21.18.  He finished fourth overall in the event in a field of 28.
