2024-25 (Fifth-Year) 

  • Earned first place in the 100 breast (53.90) against George Washington (Sept. 28) 
  • Secured top-three finishes in the 100 breast (51.61), 200 breast (1:50.77) and 200 IM (1:42.60) at the SMU Classic (Oct. 11-12) 
  • Competed at the Wolfpack Elite Invitational (Nov. 21-23), taking home first-place finishes in the 100 breast (51.10) and 200 breast (1:50.09) 
  • Represented Spain at the World Aquatics Short Course Championships (Dec. 10-15), winning a world championship in the 200 breast (2:01.55) and setting five individual national records and two relay records 
  • Opened the new year against Queens (Jan. 3) with first-place finishes in the 100 breast (51.46) and 200 breast (1:50.53) 
  • Had a successful senior day, placing first in the 200 IM (1:43.55) and setting the 100 breast pool record against South Carolina (Jan. 4) 
  • Posted a personal-best 200 breast time against Virginia (Jan. 11) with a 50.78
  • Took gold in the 200 IM (1:40.95) and 200 breast (1:49.62) at ACC Championships (Feb. 18-22), earning Swimmer of the Meet honors  
  • Earned All-American honors in the 100 breast and 200 breast at NCAA Championships (March 26-29), setting the ACC record in the 200 breast 

2023-24 (Senior) 

  • Kicked the season off with first-place finishes in the 100 and 200 breast, swimming a 54.23 and 1:59.06, respectively against George Washington (Sept. 22-23) 
  • Represented Virginia Tech at the US Open Championships (Nov. 19- Dec. 2)
  • Recorded a 1:46.34 first-place finish in the 200 IM against Virginia (Jan. 13) 
  • Placed first in the 100 breast (52.00) and 200 IM (1:43.61) at Virginia Tech vs. Princeton vs. Penn State (Jan. 20) 
  • Swam a 51.52 100 breast, good for first place at the Virginia Tech Invite (Feb. 2-4) 
  • Competed in the World Aquatics Championships representing Spain, helping the 4x100 relay team to qualify for the Paris Olympics (Feb. 11-18)
  • Represented Virginia Tech at the ACC Championships with a first-place finish in the 200 breast (1:50.08) and a second-place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 1:41.51 (Feb. 20-24)
  • Set the Virginia Tech record for the 100 breaststroke at ACC Championships with his second-place time of 50.95 (Feb. 23) 
  • Earned All-American distinction for his third-place finish in the 200 breast (1:49.99) and fifth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (51.06) at NCAA Championships (March 27-30)
  • Competed in the CXI Cto. de España Absoluto Open Trials, placing first in the 100 and 200 breast, recording a 1:00.63 and 2:10.58, respectively (Jun. 18-22)
