Hokie Club Responsibilities: Emily coordinates all sports medicine needs for the Virginia Tech Women’s Soccer program.

At Virginia Tech: Emily was the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Virginia Tech Women’s Soccer team for the 2020-2021 academic year and the Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Teams for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Prior to Virginia Tech: Emily attended Roanoke College for her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training where she graduated in 2018. While at Roanoke College, she was a four-year student athlete on the Women’s Soccer team. She worked with the women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, Salem High School football, men’s lacrosse, and volleyball teams.
After graduating from Roanoke College, Emily worked as a certified athletic trainer at the University of Richmond. While at the University of Richmond, she worked directly with the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams.

Of Note: Emily has been a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 2018. She is a licensed Athletic Trainer by the Virginia Board of Health Professions.
Personal: Emily is from Roanoke, Virginia and currently resides in Blacksburg, Virginia.
