Responsibilities: In his role, Christian is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and stewarding major gift support for Virginia Tech Athletics and its sport programs. He works with donors from Richmond and Tidewater areas of Virginia to solicit philanthropic gifts for student-athlete scholarships, capital projects and endowments. He is also the fundraising liaison for Softball and Men’s Soccer.

Prior to Virginia Tech: After graduating as a Hokie, Christian Case served as Development Coordinator with the Gamecock Club at the University of South Carolina from 2018-2019. In 2021, after graduating from Ohio University, Christian worked as an Assistant Director of Development – Major Gifts before being promoted to Director of Development – Major Gifts & Premium Seating with the Mountaineers Athletic Fund at Appalachian State University from 2021-2023.

Personal: Christian is a native of Grundy, VA. He currently resides in Christiansburg with his wife, Christina, his son, Levi, and their dog, Rosie.
