Hokie Club Megan Bozzi joined Virginia Tech athletics in the summer of 2023 as a digital marketing coordinator, before moving to the position of director of social media for football. Prior to arriving in Blacksburg, she spent a year as a social media content creator with the University of Delaware women's lacrosse team, while competing as a member of the team.
Bozzi spent two years in a similar role as an undergrad at Coastal Carolina University, where she applied photography and videography tools to create content for various social platforms including Instagram and Twitter, all while competing on the lacrosse team. She used extensive knowledge of social media, algorithms and current trends to increase follower engagement and reach. In her current position, Bozzi creates, directs, manages and executes the day-to-day social media content of Virginia Tech's football program.
A summa cum laude graduate of Coastal Carolina University, Bozzi earned a bachelor's degree in recreation and sports management in 2022, receiving the President's award for high academic excellence. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in strategic communications with a focus in digital and social media. A former lacrosse student-athlete, she competed for four years at Coastal Carolina, earning Southern Conference all-tournament honors in 2021. In her senior season at Coastal Carolina, she was a second team all-conference performer in the Atlantic Sun.
