Career Highlights: In 2018, became first Hokie since Murielle Tiernan to register a multi-goal game (10/6/16 at Boston College) with her two at Villanova (9/7) ... Recorded Tech’s fastest goal scored (5:38) in four seasons with her tally versus Notre Dame (10/18) – the fastest goal scored by a Tech player since Tiernan (2:27, versus Georgetown, 11/21/14) … Became just the second Hokie defender to be named All-ACC with her 2018 selection – Jordan Coburn (3x, Third Team, 2013-15) – which she repeated in 2019 … Also in 2019, continued her consecutive starts streak which reached 39 straight, but ended due to an injury… Dating back to Sept. 4, 2017 versus Longwood, played the final 66:05 minutes of that contest and every minute until the final minutes of the Liberty season opener (8/22), ending a streak at 3,386:27 consecutive minutes played (36 matches) … Her second career brace, versus Boston College (10/24), was scored in a span of 7:54, the fastest for a Hokie since Candace Cephers scored twice 47 seconds apart versus Mississippi State (8/21/16) ... Tiernan was the last Hokie to score a pair of goals faster than Irwin in an ACC match (at Syracuse, 10/23/14, 4:21 apart).
 
2019: Started in all 15 matches played, missing four games in the middle of the year due to injury, and played a total of 1,003 minutes during the year … Tied for third on the team in goals with three, two of which were scored against Boston College (10/24), for her second career brace and second career game winner … Also scored against Auburn (9/1) and added two assists – versus Cincinnati (8/25) and at Georgia (8/30) – for a total of eight points, fifth on the team … Took nine shots, with seven on goal … Was one of eight Hokies to tally a game winner during the year, the most since the 2013 season.

2018: One of five Hokies to start all 22 matches during the year and, overall, was the only field player to log every minute of the season (2,057) … Took a total of 17 shots, with five on net … Scored three goals, third on the team, added one assist and had seven points, fourth on the team … Registered her first career multi-goal scoring game with a pair at Villanova (9/7), including her first-ever game winner in a 3-0 victory … Also, scored the first goal in a 2-1 win over Notre Dame (10/18), the team’s fastest goal of the year (5:38) … Notched her assist versus ETSU (9/10), on the insurance tally.

2017: Started 14 of her 15 appearances on the season … Had one assist in the 1-1 tie against Pepperdine … Tallied 12 shots on the season, five of which were placed on-goal.

2016: Appeared in 18 of the team’s 19 matches, marking 17 starts as a redshirt freshman … Anchored the Hokies’ backline as a Hokie defender, helping Tech post seven shutouts on the year … Made her first collegiate start vs. LSU … Led the team with 1,609 minutes played … Tied for fourth on the team with six points (2 G, 2 A) … Recorded her first career goal off a free kick in the team’s 5-1 win over East Carolina … Scored again off a free kick in the team’s 3-0 victory vs. Indiana … Tallied helpers in games against Mississippi State and Boston University … Took 23 shots on the year, placing six on-frame.

2015: Suffered an injury during the summer and missed the entire season ... Was granted a medical redshirt.

Club: Played eight years for San Diego Surf Soccer Club 96-97 ECNL under coach Sean Ganey … Team captain since 2012 … Ranked #51 overall in nation and #11 Defender by IMG Academy / Top Drawer Soccer 2015 Players to Watch … Team finished fifth at 2014 ECNL National Finals and 13th at 2013 ECNL National Finals.
